Arrhythmical Part of Hearts (Denovali Records, 2013)

“Arrhythmical Part of Hearts” is the debut album of Sebastian Plano.

“Homage to a Soul”, it begins fragmental electric piano and synthesizer sequences and violin. Later part strings play distinct melodies and become melancholic.

“Living” begins with fragmental electric piano passages. Strings melodies, synthesizer sequences and vibraphone accompaniment follow.

The title track, “Impetus” is a sentimental and nostalgic song by piano, strings and vibraphone, and they are edited by electronics.

“The World We Live In” is a melancholic and apathetic piano and strings, later part, dynamic by DAW edittings and percussions and vibraphone follow.

“Blue Loving Serotonin” is solitary piano and strings Electronica.

“In Between Worlds II” is Romantic or Modernism taste string ensemble song.

“Emotion” is a significant and grandiose piano, strings and electronic percussions song with impressive strings arpeggios.

“Angels” is an apathetic and sorrowful is an apahtetic and sorrowful song composed by few notes, played by piano and strings.

Music Review | Works of Sophie Hutchings

Becalmed (Preservation, 2010)

Sophie Hutching’s debut album. A unique and impressive piano and string Post-classical album with her original neutral, calm and innocent taste compositions.

“Seventeen” is arpeggio based apathetic and sorrowful piano piece has the element of Minimal Music.

“Sunlight Zone” is also an arpeggio based apathetic and solitary and significant mood piano piece with reverb and feedback modurations.

“Portrait of Haller” is a simple and innocent piano piece composed by few tones with environmental noises.

“Toby Lee” is a sorrowful and serious piano piece but the piano play is clear and distinct. The later part, string ensemble follows and the sound volume become bigger and dynamic, the space of sound is wild.

“It Remains” is a pure and refreshing song by piano and string ensemble.

Night Sky (1631 Recordings, 2017)

“Night Sky” is the second album by Sophie Hatching released in 2017.

“Half Hidden” is a song of fragmental two pianos with the noises of coins or chains. Later part a grandiose string ensemble follows.

“In Light” is a bright and innocent piano solo piece.

“Shadowed” is arpeggio based melancholic and beautiful piano piece with reverb and chorus moderation, and whisper voices without distinct melodies.

“Between Earth and Sky” is a pathetic and sorrowful piano piece. Later part some effects modulations and samples take part in, and the mood become experimental.

“Saber’s Beads” is an apathetic, innocent and simple piano piece. Later part wonderful tone organ follows.

“By Night” is a sentimental song by piano and modulated string ensemble.

“The Near Side” is a passionate also sentimental song by piano, modulated violin, some strings and male narrations.

“Last Quarter” is an elegant and beautiful Folk and New Age taste piano and strings ensemble song.

Her iconic style classical and experimental album with apathetic and calm also passionate album.

“Book of Leaves” is a piano solo album which is consist of 14 simple and short piano pieces from 1 minute to 4 minutes.

“She Was Here” is few and improvisational piano chord backings and fragmental passage with birds singings field recordings.

“My Dear Comp” is a passionate arpeggio based Folk taste piece.

“Mossgrove” is fine short tone arpeggios based minimal also grandiose piano piece like Philip Glass and Carlos Cipa. The best song of this album.

“Bloodroot” is also an arpeggio based minimal passionate and melancholic song associates Carlos Cipa.

“Every Morning, Birds” is a refreshing song is constructed by passages by left hand arpeggios and right hand fragmental with environmental sound of birds singings field recordings in a morning.

“A Bed of Moss” is an apathetic and very simple song of few notes. There’s the Beaty of the nothingness.

A very unique and original style Post-classical album features vocals and narrations, and there are American and Scottish Folk and Traditional tastes but in them coexist today’s sophisticated and refined arrangements and sound makings.

“Got Ahold of Me” is a Scottish Folk taste minor vocal song with piano, strings and harp.

“Red House School” is a Folk and Country taste string song with female narrations.

“Nowhere on Earth” is a Country taste guitar solos with strings and narrations.

“There is No Other” is an innocent vocal song with piano and strings accompaniment and a guitar solo.

“Fontaine Ferry”, the former part is an apathetic and beautiful vocal song, the later part suddenly it become dynamic Ragtime song, Country and some American Traditional song styles.

“For So Long” is a fragmental piano improvisation with male voice nattations.

“Dix River Doxology” is a bright and beautiful Country song by piano and string ensemble and chorus.

“Bill of Sale” is a Folk taste sacred mood chorus only song.

“End of Domination” is eleven minutes long grandiose song. Romantic and Folk taste song by strings and piano with male narrations.

“Lara” is a sentimental strings composition with chorus and female narrations.

“A New Land” is a mystical, wonderful and transparent song by piano and some string instruments.
